Found in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands in forests at elevations around 900 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with elongate, glabrous, obclavate stems with, erect, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, acute to subacuminate, glabrous leaves that blooms in the later spring and early summer on a short, 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
