Common Name or Meaning The Trunk Loving Dendrobium

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in New Caledonia? and Fiji at elevations around 750 to 900 meters as a medium to just large sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect, reedlike, apically leafy stem carrying many, distichous, oblong-lanceolate, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the later spring on a very short, arising from along the stem, single flowered inflorescence carrying flowers that do not open well.

CAUTION I have no way of personally verifying this determination. Kores states that this species is endemic to Fiji. The photos come from New Caledonia so Please use with caution!!!!
