A natural hybrid occuring in the Philippines at elevations of sea level to 300 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte between D goldschmidtianum and D bullenianum with pendulous, cylindrical, leafy stems carrying lanceolate leaves that blooms on short, occuring between the leaves, to 15 flowered inflorescence
