Found in New Caledonia as a large sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, strong, robust stem carrying many arcuate, strap-shaped leaves that blooms in the fall, winter and spring on numerous, axillary, drooping, 10 to 30 flowered inflorescence.
