Common Name Zhenyuan Dendrobium [An Area of south central China]

Found in Yunnan province of China ijn forests on trees at elevations around 1900 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a spindle shaped stem with 2 to 3 nodes carrying 2 to 3, in 2 rows, slightly smaller at the base, and larger above, needle-shaped leaves that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on 1 to 3, arising on the newest mature stem, .4 to .68" [1 to 1.7 cm] long, shorter than the leaf, several flowered inflorescence.
