Found in Cape Province, Natal and Transvaal states of South Africa in cool forests at elevations around 1800 meters as a mini-minature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a very short stem, grey green flecked with white roots and carrying 2 to 4, linear to strap-shaped, unequally bilobed apically, dark green leaves that blooms in the spring on several, from beneath the leaves, pendant, 5 to 11 flowerd inflorescence
