Full Shade CoolSpring

Common Name Amparo's Dichaea [Dona Celedon Costa Rican Orchid Enthusiast 1900's]

Flower Size [1.2 cm]

Found only in Costa Rica and Panama in moist cloud forests on shady tree trunks at elevations around 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a simple, subterete, leafy stem carrying articulate, thin, linear-lanceolate, acute, minutely serrulate-ciliolate apically leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect-patent, .25" [7 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with cucullate-ovate, apiculate floral bracts.

Said to be synomonous with Dichaeae lankesteri but Pupulin keeps it separate so I follow him at this time.
