Dichaea amparoana Schltr. 1923 Photo courtesy of Franco Pupulin.
Common Name Amparo's Dichaea [Dona Celedon Costa Rican Orchid Enthusiast 1900's]
Flower Size [1.2 cm]
Found only in Costa Rica and Panama in moist cloud forests on shady tree trunks at elevations around 1800 meters as a cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring
Said to be Synomonous with Dichaeae lankesteri but Pupulin keeps it separate so I follow him at this time.
