Found in Morona-Santiago Ecuador at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with pendulous, simple to branched towarrds the base stems carrying distichous, dense, horizontally spreading, articulate to the sheath, green, linear-elliptic, apiculate leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, short, single flowered inflorescence
