Found only in Costa Rica at elevations of 500 to 2000 meters in moist forests on shady tree trunks as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte that blooms at most any time of the year on an axillary, .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with thin-textured flowers
