Common Name Sodiro's Dichaea [Ecuadorian Orchid Enthusiast and discoverer of species 1900's]
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found in Ecuador at elevations around 450 meters as a small sized, hot to warm, pendant growing epiphyte with an ascending to repent stem carrying erect-patent to subpatent, linear-ligulate, subacute, thin textured, glabrous leaves that blooms on an axillary, erect-patent, 1/2" [1.3 cm] long, single flowered, glabrous inflorescence with ovate, acuminate floral bracts.
