Common Name The Bell-Like Dipodium In Australia - The Bellflower Hyacinth

Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

Found as a large sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial occuring in Victoria and South Australia in open forests and woodlands on basalt lava flows all in well drained soils with no leaves that will bloom in the summer on an erect, reddish brown, to 28" [to 70 cm] long, 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence carryiong campanulate flowers.
