Found in the Philippines at elevations of 500 to 800 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with pseudobulbs carrying a single, narrowly oblong, fleshy, unequally bilobed apically leaf that blooms soon after a decided temperature drop on a single flowered inflorescence
