Found in New Guinea in montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with obclavate, terete pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, ligulate, subacute, bilobed apically, cuneate below leaf that blooms in the spring on a .8" [2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe.
