Found in the Comoros, Mauritius, Rodrigues, Reunion, Seychelles and Madagascar at elevations around 400 meters as a hot growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 3, opposite, coradte, obtuse to acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, single flowered inflorescence
