Flower Size

Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations around 1500 meters as a large sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, branching, leafy stem carrying erect-patent, lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, glabrous, glaucous leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, capitate, 1.2" [3 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with broadly ovate-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
