Common Name The Narrow-Lobed Encylia

Found in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in dry thorn forests at elevations of 10 to 200 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with onion shaped pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 2, apical, linear, acute, gradually narrowing into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, terminal, paniculate, shortly, distantly branched, each branch few flowered, many flowered overall, to 20" [50 cm] long inflorescence
