Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

A medium sized, 2 to 3 leafed, epiphytic species found in Colombia, Surinam and Venezuela in slightly dense thickets and rainforests with ample air circulation at elevations up to 1650 meters with ovoid-conical, rugose, pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 3, apical, strap-shaped leaves that blooms on a terminal, 6' [2 meter] long, apical, paniculate or racemose, many flowered, brown or maroon inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb and is much longer that the leaves and has very fragrant flowers that occur in the summer.
