Flower Size 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm]

Found in Colombia and Venezuela in dry semi-deciduous forests or on rock lajas at elevations of 50 to 300 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte or lithophyte with narrowly ovoid pseudobulbs enveloped basally in youth by a few scarious sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect, coriaceous, linear, obtuse to subacute leaves that blooms on a terminal, mostly paniculate, erect, laxly few to many flowered, 6.8" to 18.8" [17 to 47 cm] long inflorescence enveloped basally by a few imbricate, scarious bracts
