Found in Espirito Santo Brazil at elevations around 800 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphtye with elongate-pyriform, smooth becoming rugose pseudobulbs enveloped basally by evanescent sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect, rigid, coriaceous, oblong, acuminate leaves that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, erect, paniculate, to 40" [100 cm ]long, simultaneously many flowered inflorescence.
