Found in Espiritu Santo?, Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo? Brazil at elevations around 1600 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with cane like stems that are slightly compressed towards the apex and carrying, 3 to 5, lanceolate, held towards the apex of the stem, acute, acuminate, basally clasping leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, much shorter than the leaves, densely 6 to 12 flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers.
