Found in Bahia, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo states of Brazil as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with cylindrical, cane-like branching stems carrying alternate, linear, acute leaves that blooms on a terminal, shorter than the leaves, few flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers
