Found in southern Guangxi provinces of China and Thailand as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with prostrate, apically raaised, obliquely ellipsoid fusiform, pseudobulbs enveloped by a brown drying sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate-elliptic to elliptic, stiffly leathery, gradually narrowing below intothe petiolate abse leaf that blooms in the late spring on a subterminal, single flowered inflorescence
