Flower Size .8" [2 cm] Found in Panama in cloud forests at elevations of 850 to 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with simple, cane-like, basally terete, ancipitous towards the apex stems carrying linear-lanceolate, acuminate, narrowly cuneate basally leaves that blooms at any time of the year on a terminal, pluriracemose, occuring several times, long-pedunculate, ancipitous, bialate, wings prominent at the base inflorescence with conduplicate, shorter than the ovary, oblong, obtuse, imbricate, completely enveloping the rhachis inflorescence with floral bracts and carrying 5 to 10, racemose, successively single flowers
