Found in southeastern and southern Brazil as a small sized, epiphyte with a cylindrical stem carrying about 4, apical, lanceoalte, acute, papiraceous, shortly base leaves that blooms on a terminal, without a spathe, 4.4 to 5.2" [11 to 13 cm] long, .rachis winged, few flowered inflorescnece with linear, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts
