Found in Cajamarca Peru on the cordillera Tabaconas at elevations around 2400 meters as a medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with simple, somewhat laterally compressed stems carrying many, erect-spreading, linear, acute, thin leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect-spreading to sub-nutant, , peduncle short, single bracted at the base, , 2.4" [6 cm] long, rachis flexuous, 6 to 9 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate-linear, shorter than the ovary floral bracts carrying fleshy, small, pale green flowers.
