Found in Bolivia .in wet montane forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, subterte stems enveloped by purple, uppermost foliaceous sheaths carrying evanescent, narrowly ovate, long acuminate, leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, racemose, pendulous, to 4” [10 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence without developed basal bracts and with triangular floral bracts and carrying light marroon flowers with a tint of rose
