Common Name The Shining Epipstephium
Flower Size 3 to 4" [7.5 to 10 cm]
Found in Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil in dry areas in savannahs, along watercourses and in the transition between fields and forests with leathery leaves as a small to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a stout stem carrying reticulate veined, acute to obtuse, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on a teminal, erect, successively several flowered inflorescence with short, acuminateacute floral bracts.
