Common Name The Lake Yojoa Epidendrum

Found in Honduras on the Atlantic coast in wet forests at elevations of 600 to 700 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with simple, cane-like, laterally compressed stems, carrying 5 to 7, equi-distant, all along the stem, elliptic to ovate, unequally bilobed, glaucous green, margin entire leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, without a spathe, on a mature stem, occuring only once, sessile, simultaneously 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the ovary, triangular, acute floral bractts and carrying resupinate, clear green flowers.
