Found in the Philippines at elevations of 300 to 1300 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, canes enveloped by leafless and leaf bearing sheaths and carrying in the upper half, several, grasslike, acute, linear basally clasping leaves that blooms in the spring on many short to 1.6" [4 cm] long, , 9 to 10 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
