Common Name The Lovely Eria - In China Cu Jing Ping Lan

Flower Size 2/3" [1.5 cm]

Found in the western Himalayas, Assam India, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Myanamar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, southern China and Vietnam on old trees in evergreen lowland forests and primary highland cloud forests at elevations of 600 to 2200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with somewhat cylindrical to ovoid pseudobulbs that are clustered together carrying 1 to 3, apical, linear-lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the grooved, petiolate base leaves that blooms on 1 to 3, erect, axillary, 3 to 4" [7.5 to 10 cm ] long, loosely few to several [5 to 12] flowered inflorescence occuring in the spring with fragrant flowers.
