Found in Assam, the eastern Himalayas, Myanmar?, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam at elevations of 600-1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte warm to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte on shady cliffs with erect, cylindric stems carrying to 4, elliptic, acute, many nerved, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the spring through summer on 1 to 2, axillary, short, globose, densely many flowered inflorescence
