Common Name The Iris-Like Eria
Flower Size 3/8" to 2/5" [8 to 9mm]
Found in Borneo, Java, Peninsular Malaysia, Sulawesi & Sumatra in primary forest in main forks of trees at elevations of 700 to 1750 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte and occasional terrestrial in boundary between grassland and forests at higher elevations forming huge clumps, with a stout stem carrying up to 10, close set, basally clasping, stiff leaves that blooms in the spring on 3 to 4, terminal, 12" [30 cm] long, many densely flowered, brown pubescent inflorescence per growth with to 100, white pubescent flowers on each one
