Common Name The Beautiful Eria
Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]
Found in Myanamar, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Sulawesi and Java in old mangroves, and a variety of other moist forest types at elevations of sea level to 1000 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or terrestrial in humus, with a long, creeping rhizome with flattend oval pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4 apical, oblong, shallowly and obtusely bilobed apically leaves and blooms on 1 to 3, terminal, white pubescent, erect, to 4" [10 cm] long, several, quickly, successively single flowered [to 20] inflorescence with the fleshy flowers held towards the apical end.
