Common Name The Roughened Eriochilus - The Pink Bunny Orchid
Flower Size .8 to 1.1" [2 to 2.8 cm]
Found in Western Australia at elevations of sea level to 250 meters in open forests and winter wet depressions amd swamps on granite outcrops as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a subterranean tubers and a single, ovate, deciduous leaf. The leaf arises in the fall and blooms in the winter and early spring on an erect, .8 to 6" [2 to 15 cm] long, stiffly pilose, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence .
