Found in Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namimbia and Cape Province, Orange Free State and Transvaal South Africa at elevations of 150 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with narrow, linear, acute leaves that are partially to fully developed at flowering occuring in the spring on an erect, smoewhat laxly 5 to 25 flowered inflorescence
