Found in Java in lower foothills at elevations of 250 to 500 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with 6 ribbed with age, swollen stems carrying lanceolate, obtuse leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, short 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with simultaneously opening flowers.
