Found in the western Himalayas [Uttaranchal] at elevations around 1500 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with many stems carrying minutely bilobulate, mid vein terminating in a short, flat mucro in sinus leaves that blooms in the late spring on a single flowered inflorescence with small flowers
