Found in penninsular Malaysia and Singapore as well as Sabah Borneo in hill forests as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with elliptic pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptic, minutely retuse apically leaf that blooms on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence arising at the leaf axil
