Common Name or Meaning The Luxurious Flickingeria

Found in Borneo, Java, Malysia and the Phillipines in riverine forests at elevations of sealevel to 1000 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial orchid with an elongate rhizome giving rise to narrowly elliptic, compressed pseudobulbs enveloped basally by leafless sheaths that becomes fibery in time and carry a single, apical erct, broadly elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the short petiolate base leaf that blooms on an axillary, or from nodes distant from pseudobulbs, short, single flowered inflorescence carrying short livewd flowers.
