Common Name Joris' Galeottia

Flower Size 2" [5 cm]

Found in Venezuela at elevations of 1100 to 1760 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, ovoid pseudobulbs subtended by several non foliaceous sheaths and having 2, apical, elliptical, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on an axillary, erect, to 6" [to 15 cm] long, 2 flowered inflorescence arising from a newly arising to newly mature pseudobulb and having rigid, lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
