Found in Ecuador at elevations of 100 to 800 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with swollen, longitudinally ribbed poseuodbulbs carrying 2 apical, broad, thin plicate leaves that blooms on a basal, pendant, 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
