Found in the the Chinese Himalayas, Assam and Taiwan on mossy tree trunks at elevations of 2000 to 2300 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with a creeping, branching rhizome giving rise to an erect stem carrying distant, 7 to 9, distichous, reticulate, pubescent, lanceolate, acute, narrowing towards the broad, channeled, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the mid summer
CAUTION I have no way of knowing the knowing the veracity of this determination so use with caution. I need better references.
