GROUP Megalospathum
Characterized by the caespitose but branching habit, many leafed stem, fleshy, oblique leaves a short few flowered racemose inflorescence subtended by a large semi-ovate spathe carrying a few resupinate flowers with the coulumn obliquely united to the lip, occasionally free.
