Common Name The Two Spotted Habenaria - In China Xiao qiao yu feng hua

Flower Size small

Found in southwestern Sichuan, northwestern Yunnan and northern Fujian China in forests on soil covered rocks at elevations of 2800 to 4200 metrers as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with oblong, fleshy tubers giving rise to an erect to ascending, slender, pubescent stem carrying 2, nearly opposite, near the middle, orbicular, abaxially yellowish white venation, white ciliate margined, densely finely papillate, acute, narrowing below into the amplexicaul base leaves that blooms in the later summer on a terminal, erect, pubescent, 4 to 14 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
