Found in the Lesotho, Swaziland, Cape Provine, Natal, Orange Free State and Transvaal South Africa in well drained grasslands at elevations of 150 to 2450 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with numerous, suberect, cauline leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, lax, to 24" [60 cm] long, numerous [20 to 70] flowered inflorescence
