Common Name Hilsenberg's Habenaria
Flower Size
Found in Madagascar in rocky prairies at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with 2 rounded to more or less elongate tubers giving rise to an erect stem enveloped basally by sheaths and carrying 5 to 10 rigid, ascending, basally clasping, acute apically leaves that blooms in the later summer and early fall on a terminal, erect, cylindrical, many flowered inflorescence.
