Found in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia Java and Sumetra at elevations of 150 to 500 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with 3 to 5 basal lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing below in to the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, 10 to 24" [25 to 60 cm] long, hairy inflorescence with a few sterile leaf bracts and lanceolate, acute floral bracts
