Found in south China, Myanamar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in forests, forest margins and thickets at elevations of 900 to 2000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with oblong, fleshy tubers giving rise to an erect, terete, glabrous stem carrying 4 to 5, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, acute, amplexicaul based leaves and grading above into 4 to 8, bract-like leaflets that blooms in the summer on an erect, nearly corymbiform, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, shorter than the ovary, ciliate, aristate apically floral bracts.
CAUTION I am not at all convinced that this determination is correct. Appears to be H rostellifera, please use with caution
