TYPE: = Bulbophyllum hedyothyrus = Bulbophyllum chloranthum Schlechter

Characterized by the long creeping rhizome with widely separated pseudobulbs and always racemose inflorescence with large flowers with a very characterisic expanded dorsal sepal always shorter than the laterals that ate not only coherent but are actually united by thier thin margins and a dorsal sepal that has 2 protuberances.
