Found in Cape Province, Lesotho, Natal, and Orange Free State in rocky grasslands at elevations of 1500 to 2400 meters in full sun as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with hairs on the upper surface and withering by blooming leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, to 10" [to 25 cm] long, lax to dense many flowered inflorescence
